United Methodist Youth Fellowship

Newburg opportunities for youth and young adults include:

Youth Fellowship -- Mid. High (grades 6-8) and Sr. High (grades 9-12)
Meets each Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. September through May with special activities during the summer. The groups do service projects, have discussions about faith and life issues, and go on trips. For more information check out the Youth Fellowship web site!

Appalachia Service Project (ASP)
ASP is a week long experience in Appalachia. During the week youth and adults work on building and rebuilding homes, schools, clinics, and other buildings with the people from Appalachia.

Sunday School
Classes meet at the 9:15 a.m. hour only for older youth and adults. Check our Christian Education Page or contact the Christian Education office for further information. Young Adults have various programs throughout the year. Contact the Young Adult coordinator and watch for announcements.

LOGOS Program (grades 3-12)
LOGOS System Associates is a Christian organization that partners with congregations and other ministries to establish and support a unique system of ministry that equips adult leaders to nurture children and youth into discipleship.

LOGOS meets from 5:30 - 8:00 Wednesday evenings from October through April (check the church calendar for exceptions). The youth have a fun time learning about God and forming Christian relationships with all ages of the congregation through the four part program that includes worship skills, bible study, family time (dinner) and recreation.
