"Nets" Project Saves 1100 Lives!
Through the efforts of Newburg people, funds were collected to purchase 1100 mosquito repellent nets for African residents through the "Nothing But Nets" project. The United Methodist Church joined with the United Nations, the NBA,The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and others to help end Malaria by 2015 in Africa by supplying mosquito nets at a cost of $10 each. Third Thursday Dining
Third Thursday Dining is a monthly chance to enjoy a meal at a local restaurant with your friends while earning a contribution for our church. The local restaurant donates a percent of each patron's bill to us, but only if you present the coupon when you pay your bill. The August 19th location will be Bennigan's, 40441 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth. Check back here later to get get the required coupon.

Get your Scrip
Have you looked at the scrip order form lately? A number of businesses have been recently added. Keep a supply of scrip certificates for your favorite stores and restaurants. The office keeps scrip certificates on hand for many popular retailers and restaurants. Get Scrip for your needs and help Newburg!
