Coming Home is our theme for Lent, 2010. Home evokes powerful images for each of us - some nurturing, some painful, some profound and deeply spiritual. In our weekly worship we will touch many elements of what it means to come home to ourselves, each other, in our journey with Christ and in relationship to God and this world. Suicide Awareness and Prevention
Following our "coming home" Lenten theme, getFED will sponsor a special conversation on "Suicide Awareness and Prevention" at 6:45 PM, March 17. This will replace the regular getFED classes that night for mid-high, senior high and adults. Get the getFED brochure here for more details.

Third Thursday Dining
Third Thursday Dining is a monthly chance to enjoy a meal at a local restaurant with your friends while earning a contribution for our church. The local restaurant donates a percent of each patron's bill to us, but only if you present the coupon when you pay your bill. Our March 18 gathering will be Noodles & Co at Haggerty and 6 Mile. Get the coupon here. Don't forget to buy your scrip at church to pay for yor meal!

Get your Scrip
Have you looked at the scrip order form lately? A number of businesses have been recently added. Keep a supply of scrip certificates for your favorite stores and restaurants. The office keeps scrip certificates on hand for many popular retailers and restaurants. Get Scrip for your needs and help Newburg!
