Christian Resources on the web

Bread For The World
Bread For The World. (BFW) is a nationwide ecumenical Christian nonpartisan citizens group that seeks justice for the world's hungry people. This is done by seeking U.S. legislative changes to provide relief, development and equitable policies that are fair to all. For 2001, a bill was authorized to reduce world hunger by 50% during the next 15 years in conjunction with other industrial nations. There is a Detroit Conference resolution suggesting all churches become BFW covenant church members.
Church World Service
Organized in the aftermath of World War II, Church World Service is 33 Protestant, Anglican, and Orthodox communions in the United States, cooperating worldwide in programs of long-term development, emergency response, and assistance to refugees.
