Newburg Men's Club

Newburg Men's Club meets the second Tuesday each month, except in July and August. We meet at the church at 6:30 PM (check the church calendar for changes). Meetings are a time of fellowship with dinner, discussion and varied programs. Dinner is prepared by an individual each month and responsibility rotated among members. A donation is made to defray dinner costs. All men are invited to attend! All that is required of attendees is to come with a desire to participate in some conversation and Christian fellowship.

Service activities have included preparing meals for Newburg's housing the homeless, participation in Appalachian Service Project, Adopt-a-child Christmas and minor repairs around the church.

Following is a list of unique events for the men's group:

2008 Plans

January 26: Whalers Hockey game

February 11 and 15th: Serve breakfast for homeless guests

February 16: Sweethearts Night Out

March 23: Easter Sunrise breakfast

May 9: Help serve Newburg Mother-Daughter banquet

June TBA: Annual Golf Outing

November - December: Collect gifts for needy children

Current Newburg Men's Club officers are:

  • Ron Fadoir - President
  • John Wysocki - Vice President
  • Don Berry - Treasurer
  • Al Widiger - Secretary

All adult men are welcome. Bring a friend and enjoy an evening of fellowship.
