About the trip:
Each fall at Newburg we offer an opportunity for adults to serve on a mission trip. Our congregation has a rich history of serving in a missional capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to serve for those who cannot take a week off of work but wish to serve in mission, as part of Newburg UMC. A trip is scheduled for Friday, October 4th returning on Sunday, October 6th at Judson Collins Camp and Retreat in Onsted, Michigan.
Judson Collins is one of Michigan’s premier youth camps and is owned by the United Methodist Church. The camp is in need for repairs and updates to the facilities. Our team will be working to help upgrade the bath houses. Jobs will include painting of walls, ceilings and floors. We will also be replacing some existing light fixtures and sinks. Other miscellaneous opportunities to assist will be available.
